- Health issues of Tribes in the agency area of Andhra Pradesh.
- Land issues of dalits.
- The question of violence on dalits and proper implementation of SC and ST (prevention of) Act.
- Advocacy on issues of Demolition and Displacement of Slum Dwellers in Hyderabad.
- Suicides by farmers and the Policy of compensation by the government.
- Drought regions and hunger deaths in the state.
- Issues of Irrigation and redistribution of Krishna water.
- Communalism and Factional Issues.
- Backwardness and aspiration of Separate Telangana.
- We have taken up active role in forming the Forum Against Nuclear dis-armament.
- Supreme Court Judgment on the Eviction of Tribals from Forest Lands.
- Organized Indian Peoples Human Rights Tribunal on the Basheerbagh Firings on the agitators against Power Tariff Hike.
- Representing before the AP Electricity Regulatory Commission with concrete suggestions.
- Undertaken activities defending the Muslim Reservation Bill.
- Played significant role in holding Asia Social Forum.
- We have taken up joint activities along with other rights organizations on the issues of Armed Gangs, POTA and Capital Punishment.
- Concrete proposals were made before Jayati Gosh Commission on the crisis of agriculture in AP.
- During elections we published pamphlets and undertaken campaigns to educate voters on people’s issues.
- On the question of compensation to farmers who committed suicide statewide survey was conducted and helped them to realize the compensation.
- Classes were conducted on tribal rights at two places in agency area.
- Two fact-finding missions were led to Kashmir and publications were brought out on the human rights situation in that state.
- One Fact-finding mission was led to Manipur to assess the human rights situation and a booklet was published.
- A signature campaign against the Manipur crisis was taken up demanding withdrawal of Armed Forces Special Powers Act.
- A fact-finding mission was led to West Bengal on human rights situation in the state.
- Publications were brought out on nuclear issues, on Vision 2020, Gujarat Carnage, Iraq Invasion, Kashmir Crises, and regular bulletins on various human rights issues have been brought out.
- In addition to undertaking human rights perspective building exercise to the activists and supports of the Forum, its members are widely involved in many forums on issues of human rights education.
- One fact finding mission was led to Chattisgarh to collect facts on the activities of SALWAJUDUM and Maoists’ attacks on tribals.
- We are making a study of the JNNURM and its effect on the urban poor.
- A Solidarity Committee struggle of the tribals against construction of Polavaram Dam is being organized and the activities are monitored by HRF.
- We made policy interventions from the people’s point of view on various issues in the state.
- Our Forum played a significant role in the peace process, when the Govt.had talks with the then People’s War Group.
- Mr.K.Balagopal and Mr.S.Jeevan Kumar were members of the Monitoring Committee appointed by the Govt. during the peace talks with the Maoists.
